CzechBone - Your Communication Highway

Project "CzechBone" came into existence from a requirement to link the largest cities of the Czech Republic via high-speed optical network with a maximum level of reliability. Base network consists of its own optical routes, their length exceeding 2200 km. These routes are equipped with a uniform technology WDM -brand Transmode. For maximum security in some localities we are using redundant circuits. along the network there are located technological containers and housing centres that offers the possibility of placement of technology and linkages with global and local operators. These containers are protected against power failure and are located in secure areas. The smooth and safe running of the entire network is monitored via own surveillance centre (NOC, Network Operation Centre), located in Brno. It is available around the clock 24/7/365.
